Our journey has led us through six remarkable decades of innovative CRATHCO Beverage Equipment. Join us as we rewind the clock, tracing our footsteps from modest origins to achieving global foodservice excellence.

1963
The Birth of CRATHCO Drink Systems
CRATHCO was founded by Bob Thomson, Al Armstrong, and Whitey Crampton, three visionaries aiming to enhance the popular and profitable beverage market. They named the company by combining their initials: CR-ATh-CO, and CO for “company”. That same year, CRATHCO introduced the industry’s first standard double dispenser, setting the stage for a tradition of design and engineering. This is the beginning of innovation!
1967
CRATHCO Goes Global
The year CRATHCO went global, we started to export our creations worldwide. This period of growth saw the debut of our first single unit dispenser in 1969, followed by the industry’s first triple dispenser in 1970—each product setting new standards for quality, design and innovation.
1998
Towards New Horizons
CRATHCO broadened its horizons to Rayong in Thailand, where we began manufacturing the Cold Beverage Dispenser Premix. It marked a significant expansion into the Asian market, reinforcing our global presence and commitment to reaching even more customers.
2014
Our Game-Changer
We introduced the Simplicity Bubbler, Cold Beverage Dispenser, our game-changer in user-friendly design and efficiency. This machine was all about making it easier to menu beverages while keeping them deliciously chilled.
2018
CRATHCO Drink Systems Joins Electrolux Professional
In 2018, CRATHCO found a new home within the Electrolux Professional group. This partnership kicked off with the launch of the Cold Beverage Dispenser EZ Care 2.0, blending sophisticated technology with sleek design. With this exciting alliance, CRATHCO was on the path to expanding our leadership position in the foodservice beverage market.This acquisition, provided Electrolux Professional with a dominant position within the frozen/cold beverage segment.
2020
New Factories and More Involvement
With manufacturing operations in both Thailand and Italy, we positioned the company to continue to set new benchmarks for efficiency and sustainability.
2023

The CRATHCO Simplicity Cold Beverage Dispenser WITH R290 refrigeration, our latest marvel! Yes, we’re innovating again—and we’re not stopping anytime soon! We’re excited to keep pushing the boundaries and exploring new ways to refresh the world, one sip at a time.
